I think that my biggest life lesson was to not trust everyone or everybody that you know. I am saying this because some of my old friends would not be the best friends that I could have chosen. My sister has also had the same problem. They were the type of people that you would have their backs but they wouldn't have yours. Having friends like those is a waist of time and they are no good for you just the same. I would tell others that you may not know if they are really your friends at first but when you give them time their true identity will start to show. Your friends characterize who you are and you don't want to have bad friends.

Megan...this is good advice...it's good to surround yourself with other good people...those who are going to give to a relationship instead of take, take, take. You deserve to have friends as wonderful as you are! Stay true to your life lesson!
